15th December 2006 - Oh man (lateart.deviantart.com)

I wouldn't believe it without evidence, but the year's coming to an end and christmas time's about again. I know I haven't been updating this site a lot. I've been... let's say, busy. I'll continue updating this page in larger injections so there won't be very frequent updates; however I will be updating my deviantART page (that you can head over to via this link) a bit more often so you can find some of my new things there that haven't surfaced here yet. I also had bit of an artists' block at one point that started with me getting sick if I recall right, and now it's come to a seemingly end with me being sick, again. Funny? <shrugs>


24th October 2006 - Morr-r-r-r-re

Added some more rough pieces, some quick practice on heads and a dragon a friend requested me to draw. I'm not too good at drawing them, sorry :p Drove a car for the first time yesterday and it went alright. At least I'm not living between concrete and steel.


22th October 2006 - Update, update

Been drawing some quick rough new bits, and they can now be found in the gallery. One is of an armor Blizzard did a nice job smithing, two are of my two original mechanoid characters, one is a random quick portrait and then there's a warrior or a ranger of some sort I sketched out today. Back to scheming board! Oh wait I have early wake up tomorrow so I suppose I'll have to think about that... oh well.


12th October 2006 - Decisive strike

After numerous hours worth of days of work I've finally decided it's time it's finished; so behold, a night elf from the Warcraft universe preparing for a moonlit dive, the first big properly finished piece of art on my site, as well as first wallpaper, can now be found from the gallery page. Hope you all like it!

10th October - Aye, it's been a while

Well, this update wouldn't have come just yet without a friend's poking so yeah, it actually does work :p However... I'm having some decisive problems for now among other things with the bigger picture so I'm not going to "publish" it yet even though it's been laying night finished for weeks in its own way. But it'll come, it'll come, that much I can say... I just need to deal with this and that first.

Either way I've been supposed to update this page for so long so many times, so no matter what kind of update it's ending up to be it has come to pass at least. So I threw a couple quick pieces to the gallery and a portrait for my friend's character in NWN he asked me to draw quite a while ago.

Oh... and World of Warcraft ¬_¬ ...it ended up leeching some of my time again. I blame the art I was doing, pushed me over the edge.


24th August 2006 - Gaaah

Damn computer part retailers. I ordered some more RAM so I can work on my huge picture better among other things and I should have the thing by now but nooo, the damn guys haven't sent it yet albeit promised. Tsh. Damn computers themselves too, breaking apart all the time. Bro bought new hardware as well and his other memory stick of the two was broken so he had to send them both to warranty and still hasn't got new ones thus leaving the new PC of his dormant.

I tried F.E.A.R Combat yesterday... I absolutely have to say it's completely unsuitable for deathmatch action that game. Horrible. As for Dark Messiah of Might & Magic's multiplayer I got to play, now that's something I liked and I'll certainly buy the full game. As for World of Warcraft... well the new patch interests me a little since it's PvP related but still not quite enough (besides I'm busy with art and all that other stuff). I am however, cutting pretty much all my old ties to that game (namely Cabal, my old guild I left because I didn't feel it was much of a place for me aside from a few good people, who actually weren't all that involved with Cabal itself haha. Might say something about the guild) because it's full of shit and I don't need any of that on me so "na-na-na-naa-na" goodbye song to 'em, if I ever go back I'm going to get my character's name changed. Or maybe make a new character. Well I got plenty of stuff even now so I doubt I'll get back to WoW anytime soon if ever, after all the last time I quit I reached everything I ever wanted back then, becoming third highest ranked PvP player on the server and what not while at it.

I just wish the new bit gig o' RAM would come tomorrow. I really want to work on the picture of mine... <sigh> that or I should just make it smaller but I hate the idea so heh.

I saw some dreams that made me think about some of my old school's people... well mainly about one of the more beatiful gender's representatives heh. Wonder how some of 'em are doing. Would be nice to bump into some of them and talk a bit. Oh well.


19th August 2006 - To keep the boredom away

Well I've been working on this one pic, pouring tons time to it so I haven't had updates or a lot other stuff for that matter lately, but I thought I'd throw some old stuff into the gallery just to show I haven't forgotten this site yet. ;)


10th August 2006 - Freedom Extravaganza

Hm, I was supposed to post something three days ago for it was one month since the end of my Army service, which was nothing but several months of being locked away in a prison with glimpses of daylight if you ask me. Total rip of freedom. Well, glad it is over. It wasn't as great when it actually ended like it was supposed to because of outside army issues but now that all's dealt with I suppose I can properly think, and I think it feels damn much better.

In art news, I found out my madness regarding anatomy heh, so I'm going to try and focus on that bit some for a bit, drawing muscle anatomy stuff... added a piece both to gallery & soulworks.


4th August 2006 - The World Is

The world, it's a place full of misunderstandings. Some have lead to bad things I never wanted but I have plenty of things going on that I can feel good about so I don't really
care that much either way... now if my subconciousness and dreams would leave me alone... Need to spell things out more clearly in the future to avoid flinging garbage through the fan hehe. Anyway, added some more quick junk art to the gallery I did mostly during night before falling asleep.

Oh and this site doesn't really like IE6 or older browsers, forgot to mention that heh.


3rd August 2006 - Lifting The Curtains

There's still lots to do in the future for this site, but as it is it's more than enough to be published in my oppinion so no less than welcome to my site you stranger! Http://lateart.awardspace.com that is, so please bookmark this page and check now and then if you have any interest whatsoever.

There isn't a lot to see yet, but I'll try to add more things when I have time, maybe not daily but hopefully in packages of updates then. The navigation of the site should be pretty obvious, on top of the page is the four links to all the pages there are to see here at the moment with more or less content in them.

And since this is sort of a blog page heh, I'll just say one thing... busy days, for good or bad reasons, a puzzling time I'm living at the moment with tons of tiresome hours... but there's plenty of room to go up from here and I'm not trying to get too down about anything, looking at the optimistic side of things whatever they are.
